In reference to electronic equipment racks, such as those that are 19 or 23 inches wide, the term 1U refers to one rack unit of height. 1.75 inches (44.45 mm) of rack height is equal to 1 U. As a result, 2 x 1.75 would be the height of a 2U rack mount ", which is equivalent to 3.5 inches. 3 x 1.75 would equal a 3U height "5.25 inches.
The weight unit is [U]. 2U denotes weights of 90–94.9 grams, 3U, 85–89.9 grams, 4U, 80–84.9 grams, and 5U, 75–79.9 grams (all are unstrung weight).
The racquet's weight is 3U, and the size of the handle is G5 (diameter). Although other racquet types may offer a variety of options, 3UG5 racquets are the most popular.
Actually, the [U] represents the height of a server rack. A rack unit essentially consists of a server rack that is 19 inches or 23 inches tall. The 2U rack servers and 1U rack servers are regarded as half-rack servers because a normal full-sized rack measures 4U.
